Single Device Rewire – Basic Electrical Repair Service
This service includes rewiring a single electrical device—such as a switch or standard outlet—at an accessible location where the wiring has failed, burned, or degraded. This is a like-for-like replacement with new connections to restore safe operation.
Includes:
•Disconnecting the existing wiring from the device
•Trimming and preparing wire ends
•Reconnecting the same circuit to a new or existing device
•Securing all connections with code-compliant methods
•Testing for proper function and voltage
Excludes:
•Replacing or repairing the electrical box
•Replacing the device itself (sold separately)
•Converting switch/outlet types or configurations
•Adding or fishing new wire
•Diagnosing circuit issues outside of the immediate connection
•Drywall, paint, or surface repairs
•Correcting existing electrical problems unrelated to this device
•Over-height or difficult-to-access locations
•Permit fees unless otherwise specified
