Correct recessed or sunken electrical boxes with a flush guard insert. This product restores proper spacing and safety for outlets, switches, or GFCIs when your electrical box is set too far back from the drywall or wall surface.
Includes:
•Single gang flush extender (electrical box extension ring)
•Installation hardware
•Labor to install and ensure code compliance
Used for:
•Outlets or switches where the box is recessed behind tile, drywall, paneling, shiplap, or stone
•Boxes set back up to 1 inch from the finished wall surface
Excludes:
•Repairing drywall, paint, tile, or other wall finishes
•Replacing or troubleshooting the device (switch/outlet/GFCI) itself
•Correcting existing electrical issues
•Double gang or specialty box sizes (available separately)
•Any conditions requiring re-wiring or box relocation
